Jared has been a close personal friend of mine for the past year or so. Since moving to Hollywood from Minneapolis 2ish years ago with a one way ticket, $900 to his name and a camera, Jared has managed to carve out a nice little piece of the pie that so many have tried and failed to obtain in Hollywood. Jared is by far one of the hardest working people I have ever met. In just under two years, I’ve watched Jared go from delivering pizzas for Dominoes to a consistently working photographer in LA’s viciously competitive fashion and entertainment industry. I’d told him about my ideas for A Day Spent and once I finally got my thoughts together and started shooting content, Jared asked me to come spend the day with him on an upcoming shoot for a new Aspen-based online men’s fashion shop, The Smok Sho (because what man prefers pictures of almost naked dudes over beautiful women when shopping for underwear?). Over the course of the two days I spent with Jared Thomas on set, it became obvious why he has managed to find so much success here in Hollywood.
